What makes a word powerful is the emotional impact on the reader - what the word means (it’s definition) can be taken in many different ways depending on you. That’s the beauty of subjectivity and individual thought. You may relate to the word because it hits you with nostalgia, curiosity, creativity or because it empowers, inspires or stimulates you. It may be thought provoking, uplifting, calming or helpful to you. Or it may be dark, mysterious or profound. Deep, meaningful words can help you understand yourself, your place in the worldaround you, and the ideas and concepts that shape our collective and shared shared human experience.
