Sanskrit the Divine


ABOUT SANSKRIT
Sanskrit is the oldest survived language on earth and is a sacred language of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain traditions. It is said to be the oldest language in the world at least 6,000 years old.
  • Sanskrit is considered to be the language of the Gods
  • It is composed of the primordial sounds.
  • Sanskrit is only spoken by less than 1% of the Indi an population.
  • Sanskrit is the Holy and Divine language of India. It is written in Devanagari script which is known for its clarity and beauty.
  • The word "Sanskrit" means "refined, decorated" or "produced in perfect form".
  • Sanskrit is written in the Devanagari (literally means "cities of the gods")
  • Sanskrit belongs to the Indo-European languages family.
  • Many of the ancient literary works including Jain and Buddhist works and even Yoga Shastra were written in Sanskrit.

ABHIMANA - pride, false prestige, desire, an impression, the conception, by self-conception, from the misconception.

BHAVA - When you're in a mental state of bliss or peace, a oneness that flits into you, especially when you're listening to music.

DHARMA - signifies behaviors that are considered to be in accord with Ṛta, the order that makes life and universe possible, and includes duties, rights, laws, conduct, virtues and "right way of living". In Buddhism, dharma means "cosmic law and order", as applied to the teachings of Buddha and can be applied to mental constructs or what is cognised by the mind.

MAITRI - Unconditional friendship / acceptance with oneself.

PUNYA - merit,” “virtue”, “sacred", "good karma", among other things

NANDA - Bliss, lasting contentment; spiritual, ‘unconditional’ happiness.

  • Aham sphurana- the throb of Self-bliss in the heart .

  • Samadhi- state of enlightenment of super consciousness
  • Sakshat- here and now.
  • Satsang — True communion; true communication.
  • Shakti — Devine energy, kundalini energy.
  • Shanti (śāntiḥ) — Perfect Peace.
  • Shantiprema — Peace & love.
  • Sundaram — Devine beauty.
  • Swagatam — Welcome!
  • Taijasa- brilliance, being in dream.
  • Tejomaya- full of light.
  • Vastutah– in reality.
  • Vijnana– principle of pure intelligence.
  • Yoga maya– magical power.
